William Johnson House
The William Johnson House is the historic home of William Johnson, a free black barber in Natchez. The National Park Service maintains two buildings at the site: the Johnson home and the adjoining McCallum House. The Johnson House offers a museum dedicated to Johnson’s life, where visitors can learn about the lives of free African Americans in the pre-war South, and self-guided tours of his home on the top floor. The McCallum House contains a visitor center with a staffed information desk and gift store.
