Mississippi Department of Archives & History

The Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) is a state agency established in 1902 to collect, preserve, and provide access to the archival resources of Mississippi. Governed by a nine-member board of trustees, it oversees various divisions including the Museum Division which manages several historical sites and museums across the state.
