Tishomingo State Park is a public recreation area located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Tishomingo County. The park is located at Milepost 304 of Natchez Trace Parkway and features rock outcroppings, waterfalls, and a swinging pedestrian bridge over Bear Creek. Activities in the park include canoeing, rock climbing, fishing, hiking, and a Bear Creek canoe float trip. Three disc golf courses are available, and an outdoor swimming pool is open during late spring and summer. Lodging options include 15 primitive campsites, two primitive Scout campsites, 62 developed RV campsites, and seven furnished cabins. Reservations are recommended for the float trip and campsites.
