From early October to late January or early February, you’ll find over 700,000 acres of public hunting lands in over 50 wildlife management areas, along with nine national refuges. Plus, the state boasts many private lands and commercial outfitters to give you the chance to venture out on the hunt of a lifetime.

Thanks to the many naturally occurring biomes found in Mississippi, there are some great hunting grounds scattered throughout the Magnolia State. Many of them are home to multiple types of game and offer excellent fishing spots, as well.
