Tourism Development Grant
Visit Mississippi administers the Tourism Development Grant which is appropriated annually by the Mississippi Legislature. Now in it’s fourteenth year (2026), the program supports community events and festivals that highlight Mississippi’s heritage, culture and unique tourism assets. This grant is available for new or developing events with fewer than 5,000 attendees and is subject to funding availability.
The FY27 Tourism Development Grant application period is now open through 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026. Applications are accepted via the link below.
