Saenger Theater

Opened in 1929 as a movie palace, the Historic Saenger Theater is Downtown Hattiesburg’s crown jewel. The Art Deco building underwent an extensive renovation in 2000 and now hosts events throughout the year, including classic holiday film screenings, magic shows, ballet performances, awards ceremonies, pageants, and performances from internationally known recording artists.
